DIRECTIONS
Season the Pork: Generously coat the pork butt with Bee’s Knees Seasoning, ensuring to get seasoning into any crevices.
Prepare for Roasting: Place the pork in a Dutch oven or a sturdy foil pan. Spread the orange juice concentrate over the top. Cover with a lid or foil.
Choose Your Roasting Time & Temperature:
250°F → 8-12 hours
275°F → 6-8 hours
300°F → 4-6 hours
Crisp the Top: One hour before the pork is done, uncover it to allow the top to darken and crisp.
Rest & Shred: Remove from oven and let rest for at least 30 minutes before shredding.
Slow Cooker Option:
Season the pork and place it in a slow cooker.
Cook on LOW for 8 hours.
For a crispy finish, transfer the pork to a roasting pan and broil for a few minutes. (Optional but recommended!)
Serving Suggestions:
Serve with salsa criolla - red onion dressing.
