Why Bee Education Matters
At Fingerlakes Honey Company, we believe bee education should be as exciting as a honey harvest, and a whole lot safer. Bees are vital pollinators that touch every part of our ecosystem and food supply, yet many people don’t realize just how much we depend on them. Our goal is to bridge that gap with engaging, hands-on learning that inspires curiosity and respect for these incredible insects.

While we don’t host live bee yard tours for safety reasons, we’ve created a buzzing lineup of programs designed to bring the hive to life, without ever stepping close to one. Our Bee Talks are tailored for curious minds ages 12 and up, and they’re perfect for:
