Learn about honey bees and the fascinating world of beekeeping with our Bee Talk at Fingerlakes Honey Company. In this engaging and informative session, you'll discover where honey bees live, what they do, and how beekeeping works- a basic overview of bees and beekeeping. Get hands-on with our interactive displays and our products. Ages 12+ (ADD-ON- add 15 minutes to time) Honey & Product Tasting- extra $) ⏱ Time: ~45-60 minutes Perfect for: Individuals, schools, clubs, scout troops, community groups What’s Covered: A deeper dive into the lives of honey bees! Learn about their life stages, roles in the hive, hive intelligence, and how humans use hive products like wax and honey.

Cancellation Policy
WAIVER *After you book your class, we will email you a waiver to fill out. Please fill out for every participant. Thank you. CANCELLATIONS & WEATHER *To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 1/2 refund of total. No shows- no refund *We reserve the right to cancel at any time with a full refund to you. *Inclement weather- Fingerlakes Honey Company can decide up until the time of your bee talk whether your talk will be called due to weather. If it is, you will have the choice to either reschedule or cancel completely (with a full refund for canceling). WHAT TO KNOW *Due to liability issues, we do not offer tours of our bee yard. *There will probably be a few bees buzzing around, but we will not be anywhere near the bee yard. However, please remain calm around bees and no swatting. *Some seating available. Bring a lawn chair if needed. *NO restroom facilities *Please do not wear perfumes and colognes as bees may be attracted to them. WARNING *Please note that there may be a few honeybees or other stinging insects in the area. Please take necessary precautions if you are allergic. *Children under 1 year of age MAY NOT sample honey.
