Service Description
45–60 minutes (We can shorten or extend based on your group’s needs.) We bring the bees (well, not actual bees!) to your location for a interesting and educational experience. Perfect for classrooms, libraries, community groups, senior centers, scout troops, and more—this engaging presentation offers a hands-on, sensory-rich learning adventure without anyone having to leave their seat (or suit up in a bee suit!). ✨ Program Includes: 🧠 An overview of honey bees and beekeeping (or choose your topic!) 🐝 Real hive equipment and tools to touch and explore 🍯 Optional honey sampling add-on featuring seasonal honeys, jams, and dips 👩🏫 Content is customized to your group- whether it’s curious teens, avid gardeners, homeschoolers, or lifelong learners, we tailor the buzz to fit your crew. (ages 12+) 🚗 A travel fee will apply. We'll confirm this when you book—no sting surprises! We travel to Central & Southern Cayuga areas only.

Cancellation Policy
WAIVER *After you book your class, we will email you a waiver to fill out. Please fill out for every participant. Thank you. CANCELLATIONS & WEATHER *To cancel or reschedule, please contact us 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Less than 24 hours notice will result in a 1/2 refund of total. No shows- no refund *We reserve the right to cancel at any time with a full refund to you. *Inclement weather- Fingerlakes Honey Company can decide up until the time of your bee talk whether your talk will be called due to weather. If it is, you will have the choice to either reschedule or cancel completely (with a full refund for canceling). WHAT TO KNOW *Due to liability issues, we do not offer tours of our bee yard. *There will probably be a few bees buzzing around, but we will not be anywhere near the bee yard. However, please remain calm around bees and no swatting. *Some seating available. Bring a lawn chair if needed. *NO restroom facilities *Please do not wear perfumes and colognes as bees may be attracted to them. WARNING *Please note that there may be a few honeybees or other stinging insects in the area. Please take necessary precautions if you are allergic. *Children under 1 year of age MAY NOT sample honey.
