BEESWAX ORNAMENTS

"OLD-FASHIONED CHARM, POURED BY HAND"

Handcrafted from Our Hives

Inspired by German Springerle Molds

Made in the USA, our 100% natural beeswax ornaments are handmade from the wax of our very own Fingerlakes bees. These German Springerle-inspired designs are hand-poured using traditional techniques and feature a blackened primitive pattern with a decorative border, cinnamon detailing, a jute hanger, and homespun ribbon. Before glass ornaments existed, German bakers would use their cookie and candy molds to create beeswax ornaments to sell for home and holiday tree decorating. This charming tradition lives on in our ornaments—and we hope it becomes part of your seasonal celebrations, too.

Each "German Springerle" ornament is crafted from pure beeswax dyed black and rubbed with cinnamon to bring out the raised details of the design. (Or, you can choose one without the cinnamon dusting or in natural yellow beeswax only.) The result is not only a visually stunning ornament but one that fills the air with the natural sweet scent of beeswax and a hint of warm spice.

A Naturally Scented, Sustainable Keepsake

We hand-pour every ornament one at a time, using eco-friendly, non-toxic candle dye for color variations. Because they’re handmade, each piece may include small natural imperfections from the cooling process, and colors may vary slightly from batch to batch. Whether it's our Bees Skep, Willow Tree, Curly Lamb, Rooster, or one of our other bee-utiful designs, you know that we make each one with love and attention to detail.

Thoughtful Gifts & Lasting Traditions

Each ornament comes carefully packaged in a cello bag, along with the history of beeswax ornaments and care instructions, or choose a decorative gift box. These pieces make wonderful wedding favors, housewarming or hostess gifts, or a rustic addition to your own home décor. Over time, pure beeswax may develop a soft white "bloom," a natural phenomenon that can be gently wiped away with a soft cloth or cotton swab. If you need multiple ornaments for a special event or occasion, reach out to us- we’re happy to work with you to meet your needs.

Our Bee Promise

Honey bees are the most prolific honey makers on the planet. We make sure that we only take the surplus honey and beeswax from the hives so that our bees can thrive! If you have any questions about how we collect honey, beeswax, or any of our products, contact us today and we’ll be sure to get back to you!

❓ WHY IS MY BEESWAX ITEM WHITE? Over time, you might notice a delicate white film called “bloom” forming on your beeswax—this is a natural patina that only occurs on 100% pure beeswax and is often treasured by candle lovers. If you prefer a polished look, it’s easy to wipe away with a soft cloth or a quick pass of warm air from a blow dryer.
