Our bees forage wildflowers, orchards, and natural Finger Lakes flora, and the wax we use is collected only during the honey extraction process. Every batch reflects the seasons, the land, and the gentle work of our beekeepers—rendered in small batches with intention and respect for the hive.

No. We only use beeswax collected during the honey extraction process and we let them clean all the honey off before processing it. Our bees are never harmed, and the health of the hive always comes first.

Where does your beeswax come from?
Our beeswax comes from our own hives at Fingerlakes Honey Company, located in New York’s Finger Lakes region.

Why does the color vary from batch to batch?
Natural beeswax varies in color and aroma depending on the season, the flowers the bees forage, and the age of the wax. These variations are a sign of purity.
