Ingredients:

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 ½ cups buttermilk

Whipped Honey Butter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 tablespoons Fingerlakes Honey Company’s Honey


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  3. Make a well in the center and pour in the buttermilk and honey. Stir until combined.

  4. Knead lightly on a floured surface, shape into a round loaf, and place on the baking sheet.

  5. Cut a deep cross on top and bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown.

Instructions:

  1. In two coffee mugs, pour hot coffee and stir in honey until dissolved.

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, sauté onions and garlic in butter until soft.

  • Ingredients:

    • 2 cups all-purpose flour

    • 1 tablespoon Fingerlakes Honey Company’s Honey

    • 1 tablespoon baking powder

    • 1 teaspoon salt

    • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

    • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

    • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

    • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

    • 1/4 cup fresh chives, chopped

    • 3/4 cup whole milk

    • 1 tablespoon butter, melted (for brushing on top)


    Instructions:

    1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, Fingerlakes Honey Company’s Honey, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using).

    3. Add the cubed cold butter to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

    4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped chives.

    5. Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Directions:
