DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the banana until smooth. Add honey, egg, and applesauce (if using) and stir to combine. Stir in the whole wheat flour and rolled oats until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut the dough into shapes using a dog-bone or any fun-shaped cookie cutter.
Place biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and firm. Cool completely before serving to your dog. Store in an airtight container.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute whole wheat flour with oat flour or another dog-safe gluten-free flour.
You can add a tablespoon of unsalted peanut butter for extra flavor.
Store the biscuits at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks. They can also be frozen for up to three months.

I and my friends absolutely love this jalapeño honey peach jam. It has just enough kick with the jalapeños. Delicious on bread or crackers!
