Ingredients

  • ½ cup apple cider vinegar

  • ½ cup Fingerlakes Honey Company honey

  • ½ cup tomato sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp granulated garlic

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine all ingredients.

  2. Stir frequently and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

  3. Let simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

  5. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.


Notes:

  • This sauce is great for basting grilled meats, drizzling over roasted vegetables, or as a dipping sauce.

  • Adjust the red pepper flakes to your spice preference.

  • Keeps well in the fridge for up to a week.
