MAIN DISH

Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cooked and sliced (sirloin or ribeye work best)

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rigatoni recommended)

  • 1 cup buffalo sauce

  • ½ cup Fingerlakes Honey Company honey

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups spinach (optional, for added greens)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional Add-ins: Crispy bacon / Mushrooms

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat the Oven & Cook the Pasta- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente (firm but tender). Drain and set aside.

👉 Pro Tip: Slightly undercook the pasta, as it will continue to bake in the oven.

  2. Prepare the Steak- Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cooked steak slices and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes to warm and season the steak.

  3. Make the Creamy Honey Buffalo Sauce -In a large mixing bowl, whisk together: 1 cup buffalo sauce, ½ cup honey, 1 cup heavy cream, ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

  4. Assemble the Pasta Bake- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, combine: Cooked pasta, Sautéed steak, Fresh spinach (if using), Buffalo honey sauce. Stir everything together until evenly coated.

  5. Top with Cheese & Bake- Sprinkle the top with: Remaining ½ cup cheddar cheese, ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.

👉 Pro Tip: For a crispy cheese topping, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.

  • Serve & Enjoy- Let the pasta bake rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or extra Parmesan, and enjoy warm!

    Customizations & Variations

  • Make it spicier: Add extra buffalo sauce or red pepper flakes.

  • Make it milder: Use less buffalo sauce and more honey.

  • Swap the protein: Try grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu instead of steak.

  • Add extra cheese: Mix in gouda or Monterey Jack for more creaminess.

I and my friends absolutely love this jalapeño honey peach jam. It has just enough kick with the jalapeños. Delicious on bread or crackers!
