DIRECTIONS
Add 3 tablespoons of honey to a glass jar.
Add 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil into the jar.
Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
Grate a ½ teaspoon of fresh ginger into the jar.
Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Stir the mixture well to combine all of the ingredients.
Pour in 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to thin the mixture out a bit. Start with 1 tablespoon and add more as needed. You do not want the mixture to be too thin, but it should flow easily from the spoon.
Notes
Take 1 to 2 teaspoons of the homemade cough syrup 3-5 times a day.
This cough syrup is not for use on children under the age of 2.
