Ingredients
3 cups frozen peas (or fresh if available)
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp Fingerlakes Honey Company honey
1/2 tsp dried parsley
Salt and pepper to taste
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Add peas to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through.
Stir in honey, dried thyme, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon zest (if using).
Serve warm as a side dish.
