Ingredients

  • ½ French baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds

  • 4 oz goat cheese, softened

  • 2 tbsp Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey

  • ¼ tsp Fingerlakes Honey Company Dried Thyme

  • ¼ cup fig preserves

  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.

  2. Toast for 5-7 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  3. In a small bowl, whip the softened goat cheese with 1 tbsp honey and thyme until smooth and creamy.

  4. Spread a generous amount of the whipped goat cheese onto each toasted crostini.

  5. Top with a small spoonful of fig preserves and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts.

  6. Drizzle each crostini with the remaining Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey just before serving.
