Ingredients
2 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cup Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey Grape Jalapeño Jam
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
Fresh cilantro, chopped and/or sliced Jalapeños (optional, for garnish)
Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Wings: In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.
Bake the Wings: Spread the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Make the Glaze: While the wings bake, in a small saucepan, combine the Honey Grape Jalapeño Jam, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
Glaze the Wings: Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and brush generously with the sweet and spicy glaze. For extra flavor, you can also drizzle a bit more over the top.
Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sesame seeds, if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet heat!
