Honey Vanilla Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 stick butter softened

  • 1½ cup Fingerlakes Honey Company honey

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract

  • 5 large eggs room temperature

  • 2½ cups all purpose flour

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • Optional garnish- Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey Jam

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F and grease a Bundt pan.

  2. Cream room temperature butter with honey and white sugar until smooth.

  3. Add eggs and vanilla and blend.

  4. Next add flour, baking powder, and salt and combine until mixture is smooth and creamy looking.

  5. Pour batter into Bundt pan and bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Remove cake from Bundt pan and cool on a wire rack.

  7. OPTIONAL- Spoon some of our bee-licious Honey Jam over the cake and serve
