Choose from three adoption levels—Drone, Worker, or Queen—and select either a Bee Adoption or Hive Adoption experience.
This adoption is a sponsorship program designed to support honey bee care and conservation. No live bees, queens, colonies, or hives are sold, transferred, or shipped.
When you adopt a Bee or Hive through Fingerlakes Honey Company, you're helping support honey bees that live in our apiary in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York.
Each hive contains approximately 60,000 honey bees that work together to pollinate crops, gardens, orchards, and wildflowers throughout our region. Your sponsorship helps provide resources needed to maintain healthy colonies, including hive equipment, bee care, hive maintenance, and sustainable beekeeping practices.
Whether you're purchasing for yourself or as a thoughtful gift, you'll be helping support healthy honey bee colonies and local beekeeping for an entire year.
Our adoption program is perfect for anyone who loves honey bees but may not have the time, space, resources, or ability to maintain their own hives.

Because shipping costs vary based on weight, distance, and carrier rates, you may occasionally pay slightly more than the actual shipping cost.
If that happens, you choose what happens to the difference:
