Our Fingerlakes Honey Company Pizza Pasta Salad has been a hit our our family picnics and events. So versatile, you can make it with as many or few ingredients as you like, it's our Italian Sub & Salad Dressing that makes it shine!

🍯Ingredients
For the pasta salad:
1 lb. dry rotini, farfalle, or pasta rings
1 cup sliced meat (pepperoni, ham, salami, etc)
1½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
½ of a red onion, diced
8 oz. cubed cheese- mozarella, Monterey Jack, Colby (can also use fresh mozarella)
optional 1 - 6oz. can sliced black olives, drained
optional 1 green bell pepper, chopped
Grated or shredded parmesan (optional)
For the zesty Italian dressing:
1 package Fingerlakes Honey Company Italian Sub & Salad Dip Mix
3/4 cup olive oil (any oil you prefer)
1/4 cup red wine vinegar (or your favorite vinegar)
🥣Directions
To make the dressing:
Whisk your dressing ingredients together then cover it and keep it stored in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest of your salad. Best stored overnight.
To make the pasta salad:
Boil your pasta according to the package's directions then drain it and rinse the pasta under cool water. Set it aside to cool completely before adding it to a large bowl.
Next add the rest of your ingredients and pour all dressing over the top. Toss the salad until it's fully coated then cover it and let it chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes – 1 hour. Can even be stored overnight, Just stir again before serving.
Right before serving, sprinkle extra parmesan cheese over the top
and serve immediately.
