Italian Chopped Sandwich
These Italian Subs are for those who love the "perfect bite" of a sandwich. Chopping the veggies, deli meat and cheeses into bite sized pieces allows for the perfect bite of sandwich, every time. This is a great party plater when the "chop" is served in a bowl with small rolls. The ultimate party food that can also be served as a salad.

Ingredients
Sandwich
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
4 slices deli-sliced ham
4 slices salami
4 slices large pepperoni
4 slices provolone cheese
4 slices tomato
1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions
1/4 cup banana pepper rings pepperoncini rings will also work well
4 hoagie rolls, toasted optional
optional- chopped kalamata olives
Creamy Italian dressing
1 package Fingerlakes Honey Company Italian Sub & Salad Mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
3/4 cup milk
1 TSP grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
Chop
Add the lettuce, ham, salami, pepperoni, provolone, tomato, red onion, banana peppers, and optional olives to a large cutting board.
Use a sharp knife to chop everything into small bite-sized pieces, mixing and tossing as you go.
Make Dressing
Mix dressing ingredient in a salad dressing shaker or bowl.
Add dressing
To the chopped salad, add about 1/4 to 1/3 cup of dressing. (use the rest for a salad)
Use the knife to mix and toss everything until the dressing is combined with the salad.
Add to rolls and serve
Preheat the oven to 400F. Place sliced hoagie rolls on a baking sheet and place it in the oven for about 5-10 minutes to toast the bread.
Divide salad evenly among the hoagie rolls and serve immediately.
