🍯Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp soy sauce
Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 minutes before grilling)
Garlic Scape Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
3 tbsp Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Fingerlakes Honey Company Garlic Scape Dip Mix
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
🥣Directions
Prepare the Marinade:
In a medium bowl, whisk together Garlic Scape Dip Mix, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, and soy sauce
Marinate the Chicken: Add the cubed chicken to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Skewer the Chicken: Thread the marinated chicken cubes onto the skewers, making sure to leave a little space between each piece for even cooking.
Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes per side, until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
Serve: Remove from the grill and let the skewers rest for a few minutes before serving.
OPTIONAL Garlic Scape Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, Garlic Scape Dip Mix, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
If you like a bit of extra tang, add a little more mustard or lemon juice.
Serve immediately alongside your Garlic Scape Honey-Glazed Chicken Skewers, or refrigerate for up to a week if making ahead.
