🍯Ingredients
4 cups popped popcorn
2 cups honeycomb-shaped cereal
1 1/2 cups mini pretzels
1 cup crispy rice cereal
1 cup roasted peanuts or mixed nuts
1/4 cup butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup Halloween-colored chocolate candies or chocolate chips
1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Optional: candy eyes for decorating
🥣Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, gently combine the popcorn, honeycomb cereal, pretzels, crispy rice cereal, and nuts.
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the Raw Honey, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
Pour the honey mixture over the snack mix and gently toss to coat as evenly as possible.
Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, stirring gently about halfway through. Watch carefully to prevent the cereal and honey coating from getting too dark.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely. The mixture will become crunchier as it cools.
Stir in the chocolate candies or chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles. Add candy eyes if desired.
Break into bite-sized clusters and serve!
Tips
Keep the honeycomb shapes visible: Fold the cereal in gently so it doesn't break apart.
Make it extra spooky: Add candy eyes or Halloween-colored candies after the mixture has cooled.
Try a seasonal twist: Substitute Pumpkin Spice Infused Honey for the Raw Honey for a warm autumn flavor.
Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For the best crunch, make sure the snack mix is completely cool before storing.
