❄️WHAT IS CRYSTALLIZATION?

Raw honey naturally crystallizes, and that’s a good thing! It’s a sign your honey is pure, unprocessed, and full of pollen, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals.

Crystallization happens as glucose and fructose bind and form tiny crystals. Temperature, humidity, and light influence the rate. Crystallized honey is safe and delicious, just thicker in texture. Use the warm-water-bath method to return it to liquid.

If crystallization occurs, gently re-liquefy it by placing the jar:

in warm sunshine, or

in a warm water bath (100°F) with the lid slightly cracked open

Your honey will return to smooth liquid form every time.

Do not microwave honey, as it destroys beneficial enzymes.
