🍯Ingredients
For the BBQ Sauce:
½ cup Fingerlakes Honey Company Honey Grape Jam (or try our Honey Grape Jalapeno Jam for extra kick)
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Pinch of black pepper
For the Burgers:
1½ lbs ground beef (80/20)
Salt & pepper
2-4 brioche or potato buns (depending on if you want it a double)
½ cup creamy peanut butter (warmed slightly for spreading)
4-8 slices American, cheddar or pepper jack cheese (optional, but delicious)
4-8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp
Butter for toasting buns
Pickled jalapeños or red onions (optional for extra zing)
🥣Directions
Make the BBQ Sauce:
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the jam, ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire, mustard, and black pepper.
Stir until smooth and heated through (about 3–5 minutes).
Add crumbled bacon and let simmer for another 2–3 minutes. Set aside.
Make the Burgers:
Preheat a cast iron skillet or griddle over high heat or grill until very hot.
Divide ground beef into 4 loosely packed patties (don’t overwork it).
Place beef balls on the hot skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
Cook 4-5 minutes until browned, then flip and cook 4-5 more minutes or until cooked to your liking. Add cheese if using and let melt.
Toast buns in butter until golden.
Assemble:
Spread peanut butter on the bottom bun.
Top with the burger patty (*or two), 2 slices of bacon, and a generous spoonful of the Honey Grape BBQ sauce.
Add optional jalapeños or pickled onions for extra bite.
Top with the bun and serve immediately.
